To our customers,

Amid the uncertainty around the current COVID-19 pandemic and as the outbreak continues, I want to give you an update on Ostendio’s Business Continuity plan.  While much is still unknown about the extent to which the virus will impact communities, our first concern was to the safety of our staff and their families, as well as ensuring continuity of service to our customers.

As a Security and Risk management company who regularly advises our customers on business continuity we ourselves had already given this kind of planning a great deal of thought.  Focusing first on the well-being of our team and their families not only ensures they are taken care of, but this then ensures they are able to support you, without distraction. Conducting business as usual as a SaaS provider is straightforward as all of our systems, as well as the support tools we rely on, are operated in the cloud.

Following our Business Continuity plan, Ostendio implemented virtual working with immediate effect. Since we already operate a regular remote working policy our employees have the equipment and resources in place to do this effectively, therefore we do not expect any impact on the level of service we provide. We have also instituted a "virtual only" policy for both internal and external meetings for the foreseeable future to help support the “social distancing” best practices currently being recommended by our healthcare experts. Finally, we have assured all our employees that we will extend sick leave benefits to cover any absence for those directly affected by the virus, or if they need to care for a family member that is affected.

Should you need help developing, implementing or executing your own Business Continuity plan please do not hesitate to reach out.  We will be happy to help with a free consultation.

As this situation develops and changes we will continue to communicate with you.  Please feel free to reply to contact me with any questions you have about our policy during the pandemic.  For any MyVCM specific questions, please reach out to our friendly Customer Success team who are always standing by to help with any questions you may have about our service or your security planning. They can be reached at customersuccess@ostendio.com

Cheers,

Grant
