Director / Senior Director Client Success

Location: Ostendio is a remote-first company.

Imagine creating a proactive and personalized approach to help our clients and staff as they embark on the difficult, yet worthy, journey of making organizations more secure.  The Director, Client Success role is the master architect of helping our clients adopt systems to support primarily SOC 2, HITRUST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS audits, as well as other risk and security needs.

Everyday activities

We believe in transparency, so here are the main daily activities you might expect in this role:

  • Meet with clients in a way that aligns with our professionalism, values, and brand. 
  • Be a strong voice for our clients in meetings internally and externally.  Appropriately bothered when clients are not happy or need something more, or different from Ostendio because you didn’t predict it first.
  • Be a collaboration expert.  Build policies and processes with precision backed by best practices, industry knowledge, and our caring Ostendio’s culture. 
  • Build a training and development experience for staff that leads to impactful business reviews/client meetings, proactive client adoption roadmaps, and lead exceptional churn prevention strategies. 
  • Utilize data collected from clients and industry experts to encourage development within client success, product, sales, and marketing efforts.  Provide engaging presentations using collected data within the senior leadership team and for all other applicable parties.
  • Inspire staff to resolve client concerns through one-on-one and group coaching. Advocate and creatively problem-solve alongside staff and with other departments and teams.  Be a leader in supporting change efforts at Ostendio.
  • Display competency in using Ostendio’s platform.  Comfortable conducting on-demand presentations to help staff and clients.
  • Champion and ensure the celebration of successes, cultivating feedback, and resolving complaints throughout Ostendio.  Be the model of accountability to ensure that clients get what they need.  

Position Requirements

Proven track record of working in cybersecurity, security, or risk fields and with 5 or more years of applicable experience.  You must be able to be business-minded, have prior management/leadership experience, and have a proven track record of anticipating clients’ needs.  You will need to be a master at professionally displaying your problem-solving skills, collaborative ability, and communication skills.  Basically, we are looking for someone that can exemplify and develop our culture.  We need someone that can promote our product’s value seamlessly with clients and staff.   

The starting salary offered for this position is $175k-$200k OTE depending on experience. Again, this position may be hired at a Senior Director level for the right person.  The pay will be commensurate with that experience.  At this time, Ostendio will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
