Client Support Specialist

Imagine being a front-line support to help our clients with their questions as they embark on the difficult, yet worthy, journey of making their organizations more secure.  The Client Support Specialist role empathically and methodically, helps our clients utilize our system primarily for SOC-2, HITRUST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS audits, as well as other risk and security needs.

Everyday activities

We believe in transparency, so here are the main daily activities you might expect in this role:

  • Meet with clients in a way that aligns with our professionalism, values, and brand.
  • Answer client phone calls, emails, and live chat requests timely.  This can be difficult, but you MUST be able to master juggling several priorities at one time.
  • Documentation.  Yes, there is a lot.  We need to know how our clients are doing so that we can proactively help them and to use their guidance to continue to develop our product.
  • Resolve client concerns by interacting with other departments and teams.  This is the best part because we have an outstanding culture, and you get the opportunity to influence the development of our product.
  • Celebrate successes, relay feedback, and resolve complaints.  Our clients need to see action and accountability.  You get to promote that within our organization.
  • Write, publish, share, update instructions, FAQ’s, blogs, and our knowledge base content for clients that want to access self-help materials.

Position requirements

Ideally, you will have a proven desire to work in the cybersecurity, security, or risk fields and 0-3 years of experience.  You must be able to be a subject matter expert on the Ostendio platform features.  You will need to display your problem-solving skills, collaborative ability, communication skills and helpful nature.  Basically, we are looking for someone that enjoys being a kind and technical know-it-all.

The salary offered for this position is $50k-$70k depending on experience. At this time, Ostendio will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
